For those who didn’t make it to The Gathering of the Juggalos – or those who did and just don’t remember a lot of it – we’ve got some of the news that was dropped straight from the artists! The artist seminars are always the top spots to get info straight from the artists and this year didn’t disappoint! Here’s our top news pieces!
During the Insane Clown Posse set Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope were talkin’ about how people are always hittin’ them up about their set list. Asking them why they play certain songs, why they don’t play other songs, that sort of thing.
What it came down to is that the Insane Clown Posse declared during their next tour, The Mighty Death Pop Tour, they will present an entirely brand new show set! While it’ll still have some of the classics in there they can’t dream of not performing (CHICKEN HUNTIN’), there are going to be a lot of songs they’ve never performed both from their back catalog and from The Mighty Death Pop itself. There going to be tons of stuff you would never expect to hear!
Speaking of concerts, in addition to The Mighty Death Pop Tour, ICP will be doing some specialty concerts. Not only
will tickets be available to see these shows live, but you’ll also be able to peep them online via internet pay-per-views FOR FREE! If you’ve got internet, you can peep that shit!
A few of the shows they tease about included a Riddlebox concert at Saint Andrew’s Hall in November where they will play the entire Riddlebox album from front to back. There was also talk of a Wraith and Shangri-la concert along the same lines. Both will feature devastating afterpaties!
They also released news about some dope flavor you can look forward to getting your hands on before the end of the year. The first, which they promised will be out before your bitch’s neden hair grows back, will be The American Psycho Tour Documentary. It will contain everything that happened on tour on stage, on the tour bus, backstage, and more!
Also, this Christmas will mark the release of the original Joker’s card one through six boxset for the first time ever! This is something they have been tryin’ to do for years and it’s never worked out, but it’s comin’ this holiday 2012!
During Twiztid’s seminar they announced that their new album, Abominationz, will be comin’ out on October 23rd! To celebrate that horror filled release they’re going to bring back Fright Fest! Fright Fest will be runnin’ from October 23rd up until Halloween! And they aren’t even close to being done! November 1st marks the first date of Twiztid’s Abominationz Tour! For more details about all of that make sure you keep checkin’ in on future editions of the Hatchet Herald where we will be getting the first exclusive interview with Twiztid on everything they have planned for the rest of 2012!
Blaze Ya Dead Homie also
dropped some big news about his next album! It’s going to be called “Day In The Life Of” and it will be just that, a day in the life of a Zombie King Gangsta from Detroit! Right now the album is in the pre-stages and Blaze is workin’ his ass off writin’. In addition to that Blaze also hinted at a possible Drive-by project with Anybody Killa, tour dates comin’ up later this year, and his two music video which are in the final editing stages in the Psychopathic Records video department!
Switching gears, Cold 187um’s debut album with Psychopathic Records, The Only Solution, will be dropping on October 9th. It’s being called a deluxe mixtape! It’s an hour long story set to classic Psychopathic Records beats. You’ll hear Twiztid’s “I’m So High” and ICP’s “Chicken Huntin’” plus Dark Lotus and plenty more! It will also have a comic book with it that follows the story of the album so you can read along while you listen!
Another album you can look forward to dropping is the Zug Izland Cracked Tiles re-release. It’s been ten years since that album dropped! But now it’s coming out again totally digitally re-mastered with brand new tracks on Psychopathic Records! Also, Zug Izland will be putting out another BRAND NEW album!
