‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Die Hard’ actor Alan Rickman Dies at 69.

Alan-Rickman

Alan Rickman, the loved British actor died this Thursday morning at age 69. A family statement was confirmed and published by the BBC stating the cause of Alan’s death was cancer. A quote from the statement said “He was surrounded by family and friends.”

Alan was a London based actor who had an immense acting career that lasted for over three decades. Which has included screen plays in his home country as well as in America. He became first known to American audiences in the movie “Liaisons Dangereuses” as a main character Valmont.

This lead on to being a part of the 1988 action movie, “Die Hard” along side Bruce Willis. But what he is most known for is his dedicated role as Severus Snape  in the JK Rolling movie franchise, “Harry Potter“. Which he has stated was one of the most complex charters he went on to portray.

He stated in this 2012 interview with the New York Times about Professor Snape, “With the last film it was very cathartic because you were finally able to see who he was,” Mr. Rickman continued, “It was strange, in a way, to play stuff that was so emotional. A lot of the time you were working in two dimensions, not three.”

We here at True Juggalo Family are truly devastated about this story, but we know that he has left behind a long and fantastic legacy to pass on.

In memory, here are a few links to some of his best and most known roles for your viewing pleasure…
