AMB Seminar Highlights
The AMB seminar was this morning at the Gathering Of The Juggalos. While not much was released in the form of news, but they did let out a few tidbits. Young Wicked formerly known as Otis reminded everybody that his solo album Slaughter is coming out on September 4th. The album is being sent off to Red Distribution tonight from the hotel room actually. It has 14 tracks and has features from Jelly Roll, Bones, and ABK. Bones, and ABK appear in the track All Night.
Wicked did express some regret that he could not get ICP on his solo album after doing much of the production work on The Marvelous Missing Link. He did however state that they would be doing a track together and either releasing it for free, or putting it on the Psychopathic Records digital store. An interesting tidbit that came from Bones when asked about a new ABK album, he said that it would be released in March 2016, and that the title of the next ABK album can be found inside Slaughter.
Young Wicked also announced that he was one year sober from alcohol as of June 14th. He said that his deep slide into alcoholism began around the time they had left Psychopathic Records, and that vodka and whiskey had become something that he had become dependent on to even function. It was after many ultimatums that he finally sought rehab. He compared rehab to going back to school. Upon getting out of rehab he had relapsed while on the road. It was in St. Louis in June of last year that he woke up from a night of binge drinking and realized that he just couldn’t do it anymore. He rapped a few bars from his upcoming solo album, and Bones reminded us that he doesn’t freestyle well at all.
That pretty much somes up the AMB seminar. We did stream a majority of it on periscope as part of our continuing Gathering Of The Juggalos coverage. I did not personally attend the Big Hoodoo seminar so I will give ya the info from it after I watch the video from it.
