It seems arrests were down this year from 10 initial arrests at the 2015 gathering plus additional charges filed to fans after the Gathering had ended. Now, only 4 arrests were reported in 2016. All reported arrests at the Gathering were drug related.
Jordan Black was arrested for ‘trafficking in harmful intoxicants’ and a $5,000.00 bond was set at his court hearing. He was picked up after selling a balloon full of nitrous oxide to an undercover officer.
Kinny V. Gable was arrested after waving a sign stating he had cocaine, weed, beer and ketamine for sale. It was reported upon arrest he has 25 grams of cocaine among other things including paraphernalia. His bond was set at $20,000.00.
The most notable arrests were a tag team of Malik H. Ahmed and Jessica Reyes. An undercover officer witnessed cocaine being advertised for sale over a loudspeaker, as well he observed numerous sales before asking uniformed deputies to step in.
The bag of drugs was handed off to Reyes who fled the scene and was later arrested, at the time of her arrest the officers found 100 grams of cocaine and a large amount of heroin, as well as lots of cash and paraphernalia. Ahmed’s bond was set at $100,000.00 and Reyes’ set at $50,000.000 at their court hearings.
Luckily no deaths or violent crimes were reported during the 2016 Gathering of the Juggalos thus far.
