Beavis & Butthead Are Coming Back, But In A Real Life Setting?
Beavis & Butthead, the pop culture icons that every kid in the 90’s was obsessed with (including me), may be making another comeback! However, if they do, it may be a little bit different this time around.
Recently, in an interview with Radio Times, B&B and Silicon Valley creator Mike Judge stated that our favorite teenage dumbasses very well could be portrayed by flesh and blood real-life actors. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about that notion but I would certainly be open to it.
Beavis & Butthead first aired as a series on MTV in 1993, on Liquid Television. The very same show that gave Aeon Flux it’s start.
There were approximately 200 episodes of the Beavis and Butt-Head between 1993-1997 with a short re-boot in 2011. The devious twosome hit the big screen in Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, which grossed an inflation-adjusted $95 million in 1996. It also spawned the long-running FOX animated series King of the Hill. Just a notable mention, the lead characters went on to grace the cover of Rolling Stone magazine on two separate occasions.
