What’s up Ninjas! I am so excited to bring this news to you guys! Texas Frightmare Weekend is gearing up for their 11th annual horror con. It started in 2005 by Loyd and Sue Cryer. Excerpt from

After humble beginnings at the tiny Grapevine Convention Center in Grapevine, TX, TFW (as it has begun to be called by attendees) is arguably the largest horror convention in the nation. The event thousands of attendees annually and has hosted genre legends such as Danny Trejo, George A. Romero, Clive Barker, Malcom McDowell, Robert Englund, John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper, Cary Elwes and hundreds more. True to its motto, “The Southwest’s Premier Horror Convention”, our goal is to provide fans with an unrivaled experience by celebrating all aspects of genre films. Texas Frightmare Weekend hosts celebrity appearances, autograph signings, screenings, exclusive parties and horror memorabilia vendors from all over the country. The event is also extremely proud to have featured the rising talents of many Texas “Frightmakers” in screenings, panel discussions and Q & A’s.


Now that you know a little history on TFW… Let’s get to the guests that have been announced….

As of August 1st, tickets are on sale, and hotel rooms are available at the show rate. There are also VIP passes up for grabs but you might want to jump on that quickly because they sold out in ONE DAY last year. You get the best access and best deal for next year. The con is from April 29th-May 1st 2016. Want some ticket prices? Ask and ye shall receive..Here are the early bird prices.. they are only good until August 16th so jump on it like a zombie on a carcass!

That’s right, Ninjas!!! George Romero, Tony Todd, and Kane Hodder! I, personally, can’t wait for Kane. I have a Sick Man poster that needs his signature to be completed… well… it needs Blaze also but I will be getting that one when he comes to Dallas in October… anyway…. So there it is… I am so excited for the next TFW. It is an amazing experience, you get to see and meet some awesome people, and for the price… It’s worth it. Two thumbs up!
