Flow Master Rap Battle…Winners, Diss Tracks, and Mix Ups
At Gathering 17, one of the most exciting events to take place was certainly the Flow Master Rap Battle. The host of the rap battles was none other than Young Wicked, who seemed no less than pleased to be a part of the action. Many promising emcees went up into the JCW ring for their chance to impress, but only a few made it out with a win. One competitor, decked out in Twiztid gear that included a cape, really made an impact on the crowd and Young Wicked. So much so that by the time he was finished slaughtering his opponent with words, the emcee left even the Psychopathic alumni next to him in awe.
Of all the other competitors involved, one of my personal favorites was the battle in which an emcee with a dyed red beard completely wrecked his competition. By the time he was finished, there was no doubt in my mind that he was the best out of all the others. Despite accidentally referring to Otis as Bones during his turn, that is.
The emcee in purple had no idea what was coming, and given the verbal attack presented to him, he definitely won’t forget it any time soon.
Right before the most impressing of the bunch were two emcees who were definitely a perfect match. Their skills were difficult to choose between for who had more flow. Nevertheless, one winner was chosen and despite the loss, the second competitor still flashed a smile once he was booted from the ring.
So in the end, the Flow Master Rap Battle was without a doubt a success. That being said, let me just give my congratulations to the winners, but also huge props to everyone that entered the competition. Whoop Whoop!
