AUSTIN (KXAN) — Today Austin city leaders are considering making an exception to the smoking ban in public places.

The proposal would allow temporary designated smoking areas at the public park for special events, including Fun Fun Fun Fest.

The festival involves three days of music, which kicks off in almost two weeks.
