George A Romero will be making a rare convention appearance at Texas Frightmare Weekend. Romero got his start making commercials and short films before moving on to feature films. He made Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead. He combines horror with social commentary as well as satire.

In 1968 George A. Romero created Night of the Living Dead and established himself as the King of all zombie movies. He has also created, Creepshow, Knightriders, The Crazies, Martin, Monkey Shines, Two Evil Eyes and The Dark Half. 

Romero is now currently working on his adapting his Marvel Comics graphic novel, “Empire of the Dead” as a TV series.
