Halloween Franchise Turned Into A Television Series???
Earlier today, beloved horror website Fangoria gave a hint that Halloween has a slight chance of making it to the small-screen. In the Fall, the Bloody Disgusting website broke the news that Dimension Films had pulled the plug on Halloween Returns, which was meant to be Michael Myers’ great comeback. Since then, things have been very up in the air as to what will happen with the franchise. However, after the wrapping up of the European Film Market last week, Fangoria received an anonymous tip that stated the newly available franchise might be skipping EFM is order to make its’ small-screen debut. Although this is unconfirmed and should not be taken seriously just yet, Fangoria’s source did mention that the Halloween franchise has been brought up for discussion with potential network representatives. Although, if it did make it to television, it would only be a three-to-five season adaptation. As always with such rumors, though, only time will tell if such a move will be made.
To read the rest of what Fangoria has speculated, the article can be found on their official website.
