Nick Giovannetti talks working for ICP
Nick Giovannetti is know for quite a few works. Most recently he wrote issue 7 of Marvels Guardians Team-Up.
Drax is taking his talents to South Beach, the home of pastel suits, chainsaws, and Ant-Man. When a murderous alien ends up in Miami, it’s up to an unlikely duo of Ant-Man and Drax to stop him…that is of course if they can stop bickering with each other long enough! They’re Lethal Weapons who are Running Scared and they have 48 Hours to save the day before the Hot Fuzz come and replace them with The Other Guys. Oh yes, there will be chainsaws!
Recently he was interviewed by UPROXX. They talked his musical interests, latest web searches(random right?), and a few other things. Of the topics covered, is time working with ICP was included where he fondly recalls working for the Wicked Clowns. Working for them is actually his favorite concert memory.
I’ve been to a ton of great concerts, but there was only one where I got to go on stage and throw Faygo at a crowd. That was during an Insane Clown Posse show at Hammerstein Ballroom. I worked for them at the time, so I wasn’t some random asshole who ran up on stage.
My favorite quote from Nick in this interview is actually in regards to the internet. He has a humorous outlook on it, but it’s actually pretty accurate when you take a look at it. ” The internet used to be that friend who was always fun to hangout with, now it’s that asshole that you avoid because he won’t stop complaining.” If you’re interested in the full interview with UPROXX click HERE or on the title image!
