Resident Evil Series Ending with a Big Bang
The final movie in the Resident Evil series is coming to theaters January 27, 2017. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter boast to be the final end of the superhuman undead who brought about the apocalypse. Alice is led back to The Hive in Raccoonn City to destroy all the monsters and save humanity. As the name suggests this movie is suppose to be the last installment in the story line. Watch the teaser trailer below.
The trailer features the catch phrase for this particular movie “Evil is Coming Home.” I suppose that is why they choose Guns ‘N Roses’ “Paradise City” as the background music. It has the line “I’m coming home” repeated throughout the short trailer reiterating the evil is coming home theme. The song itself seems a contradiction to the action of the movie clips. Zombies are getting decimated and a lot of explosive action is taking place while the happy upbeat song plays in the background. A great trailer in all respects, though.
The action-packed trailer seems to suggest a great ending to the long-running series. The hyped synopsis:
Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
