Cassius Clay was born on January 17th, 1942, better known for his boxing name Muhammad Ali, he was the first person to ever win 3 heavy weight world championships. In 1960, he took the gold medal in that years Summer Olympics winning with a 5-0 decisions over Poland’s Zbigniew Pietrzykowski. In his long career Ali was part of some of the most historical boxing matches in the sports history. Most Notable was the first Liston fight, three with rival Joe Frazier, and “The Rumble in the Jungle” with George Foreman, during these fight he also regained titles he had been stripped of. By the end of his carreer he had faught 61 fights, won 56 of them and 37 were by KO. He was also well known for his anti-war speeches and anti-establishment politics coinciding with his boxing achievements.
