MTV Includes Tech N9ne Twice on Their List of Rap Songs You Can’t Rap Word for Word
MTV came out with a list of 19 Hip Hop songs that are impossible for you to rap to. Tech N9ne make numbers seven and eight. If only it was six and seven that would be dope! So close yet so far. But I digress. The two songs they can’t keep up with are his two World Wide Choppers tracks. The seven slot being “Speedom” featuring Eminem (who is at the top of the list like no duh it’s MTV we’re talking about) and Krizz Kaliko and then, of course, they mention the first “World Wide Choppers” from Tech’s All 6’s and 7’s. When you’re talking about a list of Hip Hop songs you can’t keep up with Tech has got to be all up in it. He is one of the fastest rappers around. It’s kind of his thing intertwined with being truly his strange self.
He’s even mentioned in the opening two paragraphs setting an example of what fast or chopper rapping is all about.
Yeah, sometimes it’s just impossible to keep up to Tech N9ne’s machine gun flow,…
You can read the whole article and check out the other artist on the list like Busta Rhymes, Bong Thugs-N-Harmony, and Twista on MTV.com.
It’s fresh Tech was recognized by MTV and yet not so fresh. He definitely needs recognition for his talent yet MTV is an entity that sucks the soul out of music. That’s probably why he wasn’t at the top of the list. But, in my opinion, this is just an example of how the mainstream goes Tech and Tech doesn’t go mainstream. This won’t create any incentive for him to sell his soul to the music industry since it was him putting out his own music that got him on the list. While at the same time it will get his music out to more mainstream listens that only know of Eminem which is so sad. Don’t you think they deserve to hear even better music?
