Hopsin on Murder in the First
Tonight Hopsin returns to the TNT program Murder in the First Season 2 Episode 12 “Number Thirty-Nine”, the second season finale of the series.
Murder in the First Season 2 Episode 12 “Number Thirty-Nine”, the second season finale of the series, will air this coming Monday, on Aug. 24, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. on TNT. In this upcoming episode, as the season wraps up, several plot lines will close, such as the Dustin Maker (Mateus Ward) trial, and several shocking new developments, which include a murder and several revelations, will allow Homicide Lieutenant Inspector Terry English (Taye Diggs) and Homicide Inspector Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson) to finally be able to connect all the pieces together, as well as hopefully, put the Union out of business, once and for all.
The earlier episode, Season 2 Episode 11 “Down Time,” left fans and viewers hanging at the edges of their seats. Homicide Lieutenant Inspector Terry English, Homicide Inspector Hildy Mulligan and Homicide Inspector David Molk (Raphael Sbarge) all discovered several shocking revelations that would lead them closer to figuring out how to shut down the Union for good. The last scene saw Fatty B (Hopsin) making a grab at power as he pointed a gun at Anthony “Suger” Cascade (Mo McRae) in his own car. It left fans to wonder about how everything will connect to each other, and how the season will wrap up.
First off, it seems like Suger might have kicked the bucket. According to the official synopsis of the episode that was released on Spoiler TV, it looks like Fatty B will be taking charge of Suger’s operation. The synopsis stated that he will take Protrero to the direction that he believed was right for it, just like he told Suger in his car in the previous episode.
Dustin Maker will also be receiving his verdict, but whether he was sentenced to death or not wasn’t revealed.
Terry, Hildy and Molk will also be uncovering who the Head Man of the Union truly is. They face an older looking officer with the revelation that his “client” had confessed everything to them.
The trio were also seen looking into a safe, which one could assume is the safe that Molk had discovered under one of Alyssa’s (Jade Tailor) floor boards.
What do you think is the verdict for the Dustin Maker trial? Who do you think is the head man of the Union? Who killed Sarah Tran, and why was she killed? Do you think that Murder in the First will get another season? Let us know what your theories and thoughts are in the comments below!
