Twiztid’s Annual 420 Show Review and Gallery Pontiac, MI
What up ninjas and ninjettes?! Last week I had the pleasure to attend Twiztid’s Annual 420 show on April 20th in Pontiac, MI. This was not the first 420 show of theirs I had attended, but it was the first one I got to front and center and represent the TJF fam while I was there. I saw so many of you and much love to everyone who recognized me and said what’s up!
NOW, on to the shit you came to see and read.
The opening acts were great, if you have ever been to The Crofoot you will know people are able to crowd in both on the floor downstairs, but also upstairs on the balcony. Some of the opening acts included Trilogy, Davey Suicide, and more.
After they performed it was time for the MNE crew to take stage. Lex the Hex Master took stage first for MNE and killed it! Fromhis style to his lyrics, he had everyone’s attention and everyone was live and once he was finished with his set it was time for The R.O.C.
R.O.C tore it up with his gritty sound, followed by Boondox the Scarecrow. I was completely geeked at this time since I hadn’t seen ‘Dox in years!!! These sets leading up to the finale’s were wicked as fuck and nobody was disappointed! All of them were high energy and got everybody in the place jumpin’.
Finally it came time for the BIG guns, Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Twiztid. It was the performances everyone had been waiting for. The moment we were all waiting for and best believe that bitch got packed as soon as it got close to time for them to come on stage! Blaze came out with his fresh new paint and everybody was just eating it up! Then finally, it was time for the Demented Duo to come grace the stage. Jamie had a slick ass Mohawk with a new paint style and Monoxide was sporting some lime green spiked hair that was florescent as the lights hit it. The stage set up to their jerseys were ON POINT and obviously green was the main color they were rockin’. They came out and it got LIVE in there! I was in the photo pit, but you could see how excited everyone had gotten once they started the intro music. Water, beer, and Juggalo chants were flying all over the room. Then BAM here they strolled out ready to tear the stage up. They of course were performing the smokers classics since it was 420 and all, but they also schooled it with some newer music as well. Their band The Wickedness was amazing and the guitarist was making his presence known throughout the show making sure to stay front and center. Overall it was a great show ans everyone in attendance had a blast!
Well fam, those were the highlights of my night. Not only getting to be there with my Juggalo family made it great on its own, but also the performances as well helped to make it an exhilarating night and I cannot wait until the next 4-20. I will be seeing you homies at GOTJ17!!!! Check out all the gallery below of all the images that I got from the show :]
