WWE No Mercy announced for Oct. 9 in Sacramento

WWE No Mercy Is Going Down In Sacramento At The Golden1 Center

Sacramento, California’s Golden1 Center announced that tickets go on sale this upcoming Friday for No Mercy. The return of this Pay Per View event will be held in that facility on Sunday, Oct. 9. The pay-per-view (PPV) returns to the WWE calendar for the first time since 2008, and will once again be a SmackDown show, as it was from 2003 – 2006, the last time WWE split PPVs between their red and blue brands.

The story on the Golden1 website doesn’t specifically list No Mercy as SmackDown-affiliated, but the Superstars listed Dean Ambrose (identified as WWE champion), John Cena, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio all work Tuesday nights, as does the blue-tinted Tweet they sent out:

For the rest of 2016, it’s beginning to looks like the initial reports that WWE would hold separate PPVs in months which don’t have “Big 4” shows were correct.

September will have Backlash on the 11th and Clash of Champions on the 25th. October will no have No Mercy on the 9th and Hell in a Cell on the 30th. November belongs to Survivor Series (20th). It’s not clear what is going on in December, where Roadblock has taken the date, the 18th, originally set for TLC.

Excited for the return of No Mercy?
