Now this is not the first time the WWE has recognized it’s young fans. The late ConnorThe CrusherMichalek became the first-ever recipient of “The Warrior Award” and the very first fan to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

The award is named after the late Ultimate Warrior, who died in 2014, just days after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

After Connor’s death in spring of last year, WWE started Connor’s Cure, a fund through the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh that is dedicated to pediatric cancer research.
